What is coaching?Simply put, coaching helps you gain the clarity you need to move from where you are now to where you would like to be. It’s a process of transformation in which you identify your goals, consider your challenges, explore your options, and create a plan of action to meet your goals.
The International Coaching Federation, who holds my coaching credential, defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” How would this work?An initial conversation is free, and the first session is free for private individuals. We will agree to a fee in the first session. If you are near Elkhart, Indiana, we can meet in person for the first session; otherwise, all sessions will be on Google Meet.
Company/Employer agreements and agreements for group or team coaching are also available; talk to Shana for those. To get started, you may want to choose from these coaching packages: Explore - Three Sessions Experience my coaching and see if it's right for you and the goals you want to accomplish. Advance - Six Sessions Implement a plan or address a specific challenge with clarity and intentionality. Transform - Regular Sessions Commit to your leadership growth with regular coaching at the frequency you choose, e.g., every two weeks, monthly, every six weeks, etc. |
What is a coaching session like?A coaching session is a conversation in which you do most of the talking. Your coach asks good questions, listens well to your answers, and asks more questions to awaken deeper insight. Coaching can help you move forward when you feel stuck, overwhelmed or just need dedicated time to think through a new approach.
Each session concludes with you naming the steps that will help you make progress toward the outcomes you’ve identified. My goal is to create new awareness and help you set goals in a setting of respect, confidentiality and support. I'm intrigued, but not sure...Let’s talk about it. What is intriguing about being coached? What are the obstacles to being coached? What are your questions? No pressure, no gimmicks, just an honest conversation to see if coaching with me is right for you. The match between coach and client matters, and the best way to find out is to have that first conversation.
