Hi, I'm Shana

I’ve been in immersed in church leadership for three decades and have a passion for supporting and encouraging leaders. I’ve been ordained and called to conference and denominational ministry roles where I’ve mentored and equipped many leaders. In fact, if you're here, there's a good chance we've already met--and I'd love to hear from you!

In recent years, I’ve had coach training and have coached both individuals and groups. When the 2020 pandemic hit, coaching was the perfect way to accompany leaders through entirely uncharted territory. It was so rewarding to see leaders encouraged and refreshed in the midst of real difficulty.

My experiences as a leader give me an understanding of leadership challenges, but when I am coaching, I am not "the expert." My role is to accompany you, respect your knowledge, believe in your abilities--and encourage you to do the same.

One thing I’ve learned along the way: every single leader and leadership context is unique. There are no one-size-fits all solutions, but everyone can get better at applying the understanding they already have to the challenges their unique situation presents.

As your coach, I will listen to your hopes and aspirations, respect your wisdom, and amplify your expertise. I will ask you questions that will enable you to articulate your goals, discern the next wise step, and take action to realize your hopes.

We believe that the people we are coaching already possess the deep inner wisdom needed to create options, make decisions, and devise outstanding plans, so our job becomes helping them excavate that gold by listening deeply, staying curious, exploring alternatives, and asking good questions.
